Talkin' Up "Shoot 'Em Up"

Two years ago I first mentioned how cool "Shoot 'Em Up" sounded. Then last November advance word said it was definitely a great ride! These folks confirmed it. Now, thanks to Ain't It Cool News we get to hear directly from Michael Davis, the writer and director of "Shoot "Em Up".

Shoot 'Em Up

I first heard about about "Shoot 'Em Up" a few months ago. Advance word was that it was an awesome action script filled with incredible gunplay. Not only was the script supposed to be the real deal, but there was even a stick figure animation that the writer/director created to show potential backers that he knew what he was doing.

It was recently announced that Clive Owen would be the star of "Shoot 'Em Up." Pretty cool choice, if you ask me. How could that get any better?

Well, Latinoreview has posted their review of the script as well as the stick figure animations that helped sell the script. Man, it does look like a wild ride!

"Shoot 'em Up" Wows 'Em

About a year and a half ago we began talking about "Shoot 'em Up." It looked and sounded like a cool idea for an action movie. Then as early word came in, things still looked positive.

Now that we're hearing from people who saw an advance screening, I'd say that we're definitely in for a great ride!

Shoot 'Em Up Takes Another Step

We've been talking about "Shoot 'em Up" since it was just an interesting idea waiting to happen. It's been cool keeping tabs as the movie was announced, stars were named, it began filming and moving closer to its premiere. Now the official website is open. And we're another step closer to September 7th!

Shoot 'Em Up in September

About two years ago I first mentioned how cool "Shoot 'Em Up" sounded. Then last November advance word started to come in that it was definitely a great ride! We'll finally get a chance to see it in September and my guess is that we'll enjoy it as much as these folks who've already seen it!
