There's a nice little interview with Mike Mignola over at CBR.com. Mignola talks about everything from what it's like seeing his creation, Hellboy, on the big screen for the second time to what he's doing next.

Great interview, thanks for posting! Hellboy has been one of my favorite comics years before the first film even came out. Very curious to see what Mignola has in store for the next 15 years and how he'll end it all. But I'm very happy to enjoy the ride until then and am in no hurry for Hellboy to "end".
I can't wait for the new film. Actually I'm probably going to see it tonight! My only concern in the interview was this part:
We have to ask, because we obviously know he’s going to be busy for the next four years with “The Hobbit.” Obviously, Hellboy is your baby, but del Toro has adopted him like one of his own kids. Do we see someone else directing “Hellboy III” if he’s busy for the next 4-6 years?
That’s certainly going to be a really interesting situation. Because if this movie is successful, I can’t imagine the studio saying, “Sure, we’ll wait five years.” So I don’t know what’s going to happen there. I can’t imagine it without him, but at the same time I can’t imagine people sitting around waiting five years.
Del Toro has to do the third film! I can't imagine anyone else doing it, nor do I really want anyone else doing it.
