It looks like they're trying to hard to put too much cgi, strange creatures, and too much humour, and make it look more like a main stream comic book movie...it's missing the essence and charm the original had...it just seems too big and too overdone.

Also is this based on the comic books or just strange, bizarre looking creatures from Del Toro's mind. They look cool and stuff but it doesn't feel like the Hellboy comic to me...not like the first one did.

I'll still give the movie a shot, but based on the trailer I don't think I'm going to like it as much as the first, but it could surprise and they just are spicing it up for the trailer?
