The Hulk trailer went live today. I've never been much of a fan of the character and after watching the preview nothing has changed.

you're right Craig. Didn't they JUST have a Hulk movie about 5 years ago? Why so soon again anyway?
Happy to see we think the same Craig !
If we all feel this way, it could spell problems for The Hulk.
I like the Hulk.
I agree!

I know. It's just tired and insignificant.
And how about those lame CGI effects, Craig? The Hulk by way of Roger Rabbit.
Archer
I don't agree. I'm a huge fan of the character and a BIG fan of the TV show. The film has me curious. Nothing 'Yawn' about this.

The Hulk looks exactly like a smaller version of the Hulk from the recent film. Should we be suprised they didn't get it right?
Don't worry, I'm sure a remake is already in the works.

Some of you make me laugh. HULK wasn't even as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It's the perfect story surrounding the HULK character. HULK works more as a dramatic story than action film in my opinion. Sure, at times the CGI was sub-par but other times it looked good.

HULK wasn't as bad as people like to say.

Sub par nothing. The CGI was horrible. The movie is every bit as bad as everyone makes out. If it works better as a dramatic story, they need to make it into a dramatic story. Not a CGI crapfest.

What's seeing a lot of movies have to do with anything? That doesn't make sense because I can't even count how many films I've viewed in my life-time and I enjoy some aspects of that film.

Seeing a lot of movies means I have seen a lot of bad films as well, and this is one of the worst. Just my opinion, not basing me watching a lot of movies as fact that this movie sucks. Just according to me it does

I don't think the Ang Lee version is as bad as everyone says either, it's nowhere near my worst movies of all time

the CGI hulk looks crap
they should of used a proper well built live person

Look, the original Hulk had good actors going for it. Eric Bana, Nick Nolte, Sam Elliott - each one of them are solid.
But the movie is about the Hulk and they employed some of the most laughable effects in recent CGI memory - perhaps the worst. The transformation into the Hulk should have been as thrilling as the transformation in An American Werewolf in London. Instead, we get a silly cartoon bouncing all over the place and never, for one minute, did it appear to be inhabiting the same space as the actors in the frame. I would have preferred even an old fashioned Ray Harryhausen Hulk to this bouncy, liquid one.
Sheriff, I respect your opinion as well, and understand if the story and actors mean something to you, but how can we enjoy a film about the Hulk when the Hulk looks ridiculous? The first movie couldn't overcome it and they still haven't fixed the problem it seems.

There were some moments of good cgi in Hulk...the desert scene with the tanks looked great IMO.
The whole ending and the mutant poodles was pretty dumb. The Hulk growing to 12 feet (or more) and holding Betty and she was the size of a barbie doll in comparison was so stupid!
The transitioning from one scene to the next was the most creative I think I've ever seen on film. Great actors in the films as well. There are worse comic book movies out there...Hulk is somewhere in the middle for me.
I will give the new one a chance, I haven't written it off just by one trailer. But my hopes aren't too high, which is probably a good thing.
